Context

SuperDoc built its reputation on engineering-grade precision — but its marketing presence hadn't kept pace. Operating from a single-page microsite, the team had limited ability to tell their story, scale content, or make changes without developer involvement. As the next phase of growth demanded more flexibility, SuperDoc partnered with RevX to migrate to HubSpot CMS and build a modular, brand-aligned foundation that marketing could own and expand independently.

The challenge

SuperDoc's single-page microsite was holding back marketing execution. The team needed more than a lift-and-shift migration — they needed a CMS environment built for long-term flexibility, brand consistency, and marketing self-sufficiency, without creating ongoing dependency on engineering.

A Microsite That Couldn't Support Growth
The existing single-page setup limited how effectively SuperDoc could communicate their value, run campaigns, or scale inbound content. Every update required engineering involvement, and the structure offered no room for multi-page expansion. As their product matured, the gap between their engineering-grade product and their constrained web presence became increasingly difficult to ignore.

No Flexible, Customizable Theme Foundation
SuperDoc needed a theme structure — specifically the CLEAN theme — that they could deeply customize to match their brand and future needs. A marketplace-managed version wouldn't provide the level of control required. A self-hosted copy was essential to allow modifications beyond what standard installations permitted, both at launch and as their requirements evolved over time.

Marketing Locked Out of Routine Updates
The new CMS needed to empower the marketing team to make changes independently — updating modules, adjusting spacing, editing forms, and modifying styling — without developer help. Without this kind of self-service capability built into the system from the start, the migration would simply recreate the same bottleneck in a new environment.

Our solution

RevX approached the migration with a clear principle: build it once, build it right, and build it so marketing never needs a developer for routine updates. The work spanned theme customization, modular development, brand alignment, and thorough QA — resulting in a fully scalable HubSpot CMS foundation.

Custom Theme Setup and Brand-Perfect Styling
The CLEAN theme was downloaded and rehosted in a development environment, enabling deep customization beyond what marketplace-managed versions allow. SuperDoc's brand colors, typography, and spacing were applied across templates, modules, and global elements. Styling customization fields were extended so the marketing team could make visual changes independently — ensuring brand coherence without requiring developer intervention for every update.

Modular Build with Reusable, Editable Components
RevX built a library of reusable, global content blocks — including a logo carousel, a Liveblocks-style footer, editable header content with anchor scroll behavior, and a stylized HTML module for advanced use cases. Modules were given unique IDs and CSS classes for scroll-targeting and custom styling. Theme-based forms were customized with editable fields, and external assets like Font Awesome and essential JS libraries were integrated to support flexibility.

Full QA Across Browsers, Devices, and Editing Experience
A comprehensive testing process covered layout behavior across browsers and devices, responsive stacking and spacing, scroll-targeting, form submissions, anchor navigation, and JS library integration. Structured review cycles with the SuperDoc team validated design alignment, copy, and module-level UX. Every round tightened the system further — resulting in a polished, reliable CMS that marketing could depend on from day one.

The impact

With the migration complete, SuperDoc has a CMS foundation that matches the precision of their core product — flexible enough for today's needs and structured for long-term scale.

A Smooth Migration with Full Feature Parity

The single-page microsite was migrated into HubSpot CMS without disruption to the original user experience. Every element carried over with full feature parity, and the transition was seamless for both the team and their website visitors. SuperDoc moved into their new CMS environment without compromise — and without the operational downtime that often accompanies migrations of this scope.

An Editor-Friendly System Marketing Can Own

Custom modules, reusable templates, and a flexible landing page structure mean SuperDoc's marketing team can launch new content instantly — without waiting on engineering. Routine updates to sections, styling, forms, and content are fully self-service. The system was built from the ground up to reduce developer dependency and give marketing the autonomy they need to move at the speed their growth stage demands.

A Scalable Framework Built for What Comes Next

The new HubSpot CMS foundation supports multi-page expansion, consistent styling across new sections, and easy additions of content and components over time. SuperDoc now has the operational backbone for long-term inbound growth — a marketing engine as strong and reliable as the product it represents, ready to scale without requiring a rebuild every time their needs evolve.
